What They Face

The pure talent of the rural ‘bauls’,

Can be referred to as musical howls.

They put all their effort in their music,

To enlighten people having spirits, sick.

People going for work,

And children going to play,

All get attracted

To the beautiful tunes of ray.

New courage and energy, is gifted to us,

From those who do so much for us.

However their talent is recognized much less,

Than it should be, for what they face.~

[We know that folk music is a form of Indian Music. It mainly rose from the rural parts of India and now is practiced by many people across the country. The songs are simple and heart-touching. We can feel those songs and relate to them a lot. The older people are in love with them all the time. The village folk singers are referred to as ‘bauls’. They roam along the streets pouring out their feelings, with perfect synchronization. The instruments which they use while singing are ektara (single-stringed), dotara (double-stringed) and many other instruments.
I doubt if we can ever pursue such uniqueness, hence we shall not overlook them only because they belong to rural areas but shall try to know more about their hard work and give them more importance.]
